Citron Green Tea:
Steepfuze's Citron Green Tea begins high in the hills on the Yunnan region of China. This region is famous for growing a wide variety of teas. Their steamed green tea has a flavor profile similar to Sencha, but is slightly more floral and less earthy.
Steepfuze then blends their tea with organic lemon zest and orange peel to add citrus notes that brighten as the cup cools. This mildly sweet, herbaceous blend makes a lovely, hot cup, but is also served nicely over ice for those hot, summer days!
This tea is lightly caffeinated.
Ingredients: Full spectrum hemp extract, green tea, orange peel, marigold flowers.
Black Blend Tea:
Steepfuze's black tea is based off of an Irish Breakfast tea recipe combining two hearty black teas from Sri Lanka and India to get your morning off to a bright start. They begin with a base of mellow Ceylon Orange Pekoe tea from high in the mountains of Sri Lanka. The Ceylon Dimbula they use consists of long leaves with few tips – giving the tea light but brisk citrus notes with a clean, bright aroma.
Steepfuze blends Ceylon with an Assam tea from India. The larger leaves from lower elevation bring on a smooth biscuit mouthfeel and add a malty underscore to the flavor with hints of walnut on the finish.
This tea is caffeinated.
Ingredients: Full spectrum hemp extract, Assam tea, Ceylon tea
Hibiscus Berry Herbal Tea:
This herbal tea is comprised entirely of flowers and berries making it completely caffeine-free. Beginning with a base of hibiscus petals and rose hips, this tea has a very floral and refreshing nose. Next, Steepfuze adds some cranberries and blackberries to give the tea a tart base. Dried strawberries are then blended to add a delicate sweetness. To round out the tea, they add in currants providing subtle earth tones and a tannic acid structure. Completing the profile is the addition of rare British bilberries.
This herbal tea contains no caffeine.
Ingredients: Full spectrum hemp extract, hibiscus flowers, rose hips, bilberries.
How does Steepfuze infuse? With essentially no oils to work with when infusing tea, they infuse some of the different components of the total dissolved solids (TDS) that start in the leaf and end up in your cup. With tea having a more delicate flavor profile than coffee, the infusion process is much more delicate as well. They bind their CBD to the flavonoids, amino acids, and simple carbohydrates like sugars that are expressed during steeping. Steepfuze's teas are infused at a 2:1 ratio of milligrams of CBD to grams of loose leaf tea for easy measuring.
